Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata

The Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT), popularly known as HITK, is a self-financed institute in the state of West Bengal, India. Situated on the southern fringes of Kolkata, HIT is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). It offers undergraduate (B.Tech), postgraduate (M.Tech), and MCA programs. HITK has received the ‘Most Preferred Engineering Institute of 2020’ award and was ranked 201st under the Engineering category by the NIRF in 2022.
